About Us

Joe and Emily Grote represent the sixth generation of the Grote family's farming legacy on their historic homestead, established in 1856. Although cattle have always been around the Grote family farm, Joe and Emily began their beef cow herd and began marketing it to friends and family. Their commitment to raising the highest quality of beef for their customers is what drives Big Woods Beef.
