Our pricing is transparent and competitive, at just $3.05 per pound based on the hanging weight, with the final cost determined after processing. You'll receive an invoice for the exact amount, ensuring no surprises.

Customized Butchering for Ultimate Satisfaction

We partner with Herda’s Meat Processing in Faribault, Minnesota, to provide you with custom butchering services. Whether you prefer specific cuts, packaging sizes, or have special requests, Herda’s is equipped to meet your needs. You directly pay for the processing costs at pick-up, making the process straightforward and hassle-free.

Flexible Options for Your Convenience

Interested in purchasing a whole animal but prefer to use a different meat locker? We're flexible and happy to collaborate with you to schedule your butchering date elsewhere, ensuring your complete satisfaction.

What's in a Quarter Beef Package?

A quarter beef package typically includes around 200 pounds of processed meat, featuring:

  • 20-25 pounds of premium steaks (T-bone, ribeye, sirloin, round)
  • 50 pounds of versatile ground beef
  • 20 pounds of hearty roasts

For those who prefer a personal touch, we invite you to visit our farm. It's a beautiful opportunity for you and your family to see where your food comes from, meet our animals, and understand our farming practices. We ensure that a team member can always assist you during your visit. Additionally, we offer a delivery service for customers within a 70-mile radius of Faribault, Minnesota, covering areas including the Twin Cities metro, Rochester, Mankato, Northern Iowa, and Western Wisconsin. We're happy to meet you conveniently within our delivery area if you're located beyond this range. Once your order is placed, we'll contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time or pick-up spot.

Understanding the importance of flexibility and convenience, Big Woods Beef strives to accommodate your needs. Delivery is complimentary for orders within a 20-mile radius of our location. For distances beyond 20 miles, a nominal delivery fee of 40 cents per mile is applied to your order to cover transportation costs. This approach ensures you receive your Big Woods Beef products as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. Whether you're picking up your order from our farm or opting for delivery, our goal is to provide you with the freshest, highest-quality beef products.
